Review/approve previous minutes
Susie moved to approve previous minutes; James seconded the motion. All voted yes; the motion passed.
Treasury Report
All player fees are in except one 12u player.
Athletic Director Report
Billy met with the families who had concerns. In the future, both parents of an athlete need to meet with the coaching staff to discuss concerns.
New Business
Interviewed prospective volleyball coordinator
Jarman Update
Discussion and updates from James and Billy.
Monetary contribution for head coaches to help with lodging at Nationals
$750 Kat/Craig Wilson, Jamie Bullard, Sam Packard, Chad Gerlt, Amy Grady, Ezra Zoschke Erin will inform them now and give them each a check just before Nationals.
Gym floor maintenance
Inform everyone in the organization that no one should use any products on the floor; the dust mop is the only thing that should be used. Susie will put this information out via email and on the app.
Parent/player handbook update
James drew up a rough draft. We will discuss this in a future meeting once everyone has had a chance to look it over.
Summer schedule/coaches for next year/practice schedule
We began the discussion on coaches for next year before Nationals. Billy will start checking with current coaches for availability and for next year’s tentative practice schedule.
Injury/Hardship Discussion
Spirit wear before Regionals/Nationals
Erin received all the invoices needed from the former spirit wear orders; she will take the rest of the inventory home to try to get a final amount. Craig had some ideas for a new spirit wear order before Regionals/Nationals.
Social media need
Susie will ask an adult to manage the social media accounts for the Knights.
