Knights Basketball
The OKC Knights offer a Christian homeschool competitive basketball program for athletes in the greater Oklahoma City area. We offer programs for both boys and girls in 10u, 12u, 14u, Junior Varsity, and Varsity high school teams. Our 10u and 12u teams are developmental teams, and our 14u and older teams are competitive teams. Our developmental teams endeavor to allow all athletes playing time, our competitive teams do not guarantee equal playing time. Our 10u and 12u teams play in a local league as well as games against other homeschool programs. Our 14u, Junior Varsity, and Varsity play against other homeschool programs, and Christian and public-school programs as well.

We welcome homeschool athletes to our teams. We also welcome players who are transferring from other homeschool programs or from public schools, but to uphold the integrity of homeschool athletics we do have some eligibility requirements.
For our part, we respect the other homeschool programs in OKC and will never recruit athletes away from other homeschool teams or recruit/persuade public school athletes to homeschool for the sole purpose of playing for our teams.
Eligibility requirements
Players must be homeschooled at least 51% of the time.
Make a season-long commitment to the teams, coaches, and players.
Parents must be willing to volunteer during the games and in other events where needed.
Players must not have left another team or school for disciplinary reasons in the past 12 months.
Players and parents must be willing to abide by our code of conduct.
Players must live at home with his/her parent, legal guardians, or a board-approved legally responsible person.
-
Homeschool transfers
There is no sitting period for transfers from homeschool programs who have been homeschooled for two consecutive years. Homeschool transfers who have only been homeschooled for one year are subject to board approval.
Public School transfers
Incoming Freshmen and Sophomores are eligible immediately if they transfer before their first game.
Incoming Juniors – not eligible to play until November 23.
Incoming Seniors – not eligible to play until January 1
Players may still practice with their teams until they are able to play.
Upperclassmen must transfer before the first game of their previous team. In-season upperclassmen transfers are NOT eligible to play for the Knights.
Transfer classifications are based on the student’s grade at the school or team they are transferring from. ie: If the student was a junior at their previous school, they are considered an incoming senior. If they “reclassify,” they are still treated as an incoming senior in terms of our eligibility rules.
