OHEAA Board Meeting Minutes - 10/20/2025

Review/approve previous minutes
James made a motion to approve the previous minutes; Susie seconded the motion. All voted yes; the previous minutes were approved.
Secretary Report
Jordan uniforms have been handed out to the coaches for new players, and another order has been placed for new players and current Knights who requested a different size, as well as extras to keep in stock. The board agreed to cover alterations needed for anyone who did not receive the size of shorts they requested until the new order arrives. 10u/12u jerseys have been ordered at Gregory’s and should be in any day. All payments for these orders have been made.
New Business
Discussion with Samantha, Jana, and Amy about policy clarifications.
Banners for gym: Sponsorship Options
$500: Hudl, social media, announce at the game
$750: Hudl, social media, announce at the game, banner, and family pass
The business will need to provide the design, and we will take care of the banner.
Financial scholarship application:
Kimray made a donation to the OKC Knights; some of the funds were used to fund scholarships for this year. It was suggested and agreed upon that we set aside a budget every year for scholarships. There were 3 scholarship applications this season.
Program: Lori Watson offered to work on a printed program. Erin will contact Lori to get more details on her ideas and the estimated cost.
Floor cleaning schedule: Erin will put signup on board/coach chat for each team to sign up for a different day to clean the floor.
Rental facility for basketball court: James is actively looking for a facility to rent, or possibly rent-to-own, where we could put in our own court, scoreboards, etc. and use as our own.
Senior Night Date/Gym: Billy will check with Destiny to see if Feb. 6 or Feb. 21 is available for us to use for Senior Night. If needed, we may host the younger teams’ games at our home gym and then Varsity teams only at Destiny (if a later time is needed to secure their gym).
